Each week, TSN.ca takes a look at the top storylines in the NFL and gives you all you need to know heading into Sundays action. All in! Chargers win and get in, Chiefs need some help This isn’t exactly a win-and-get-in game because Kansas City will need some extra help, but it’s a very important one for both teams. The Chargers caught a bit of a break when the Chiefs announced QB Alex Smith will miss the game with a lacerated spleen. With Chase Daniel now behind centre, expect Kansas City to rely even more on Jamaal Charles and their run game, which could be a winning strategy against San Diego, who has one of the worst run defences in the league. With home field advantage, the Chiefs may be able to pull this one out, but even then will be forced to scoreboard watch, hoping for Baltimore and Houston losses to get into the playoffs. Win and get in/Lose and you’re fired Flexed to the late afternoon slot are the legit playoff deciders, although this first one probably shouldn’t be. Carolina vs Atlanta acts as both a win-and-get-in game and a lose-and-you’re fired match. The latter may be a bit dramatic but there’s at least the possibility that Mike Smith and Ron Rivera are coaching for both a playoff spot – and division championship no less – and their jobs. The winner of Sunday’s AFC South tilt will finish with seven wins and likely get crushed at home in the first round of the playoffs. The consolation prize for the loser is a potential Top 10 pick in this year’s draft. Fight for the North A division battle I can get a little more into! The two heavyweights in the AFC North this year – Green Bay, of course, and Detroit, kind of surprisingly – will take their battle for the division title down to the last Sunday of the regular season. The Packers have the added incentive of a first-round bye attached to a win while the Lions could still achieve that as well but would need a bunch of other things to happen as well. There’s a lot of Super Bowl talk surrounding the Packers this time of year, not so much with the Lions. Even Lions fans don’t seem too hopeful heading into Sunday; the smart money seems to be on Green Bay. Fight for the North 2 About an hour after the NFC North is decided, the AFC North will be up for grabs in the last Sunday Nighter of the regular season. Cincinnati has the edge heading into the game by virtue of their tie earlier in the season, but with Denver likely to beat Oakland earlier in the day, this game isn’t for much other than home field in the first round of the playoffs. Harbaugh’s goodbye? Harbaugh’s goodbye to San Francisco? Definitely. But it may not be his goodbye to the NFL. Despite what will surely be – or has already been – a very generous offer from Michigan for Harbaugh to return the NCAA, the four-year head coach is expected to have plenty of suitors from the pro game as well. He may not even escape the Bay Area with the Oakland Raiders expected to come calling as well. It will be interesting to see how the 49ers respond knowing their coach is screaming at them for the last time. They should still be able to send him out a winner against Logan Thomas, errr Ryan Lindley. William Karlsson Jersey . The Miami Heat star tops the leagues global list of top-selling jerseys for the 2012-13 season, edging Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Heat teammate Dwyane Wade for the No. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare Jersey . The eighth-year point guard played in his 500th career game on Sunday, a 98-93 win over the Orlando Magic. Does he feel like hes played in that many games? "No," he said initially, before reconsidering. Maxime Lagace Jersey . His stated reason for abruptly resigning as head coach of Canadas Olympic womens hockey team was he felt there were doubts about his ability to coach the team to Olympic gold in February. Ryan Reaves Jersey . Ronaldo failed to connect on an ample number of opportunities at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. But Karim Benzema and Jese Rodriguez scored in each half for Madrid to come out of the first leg with the firm advantage.J.A. Happ tries to win for the fifth time in six starts tonight when the Toronto Blue Jays continue a three-game series with the Minnesota Twins. Happ bounced back from an ugly loss to Kansas City to win in Detroit on Thursday, as he held the Tigers to three runs and seven hits in 6 1/3 innings to improve to 5-2 to go along with a 4.12 ERA. In two games (1 start) versus the Twins, Happ is 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA. After getting shut out in back-to-back games Toronto seemed to get back on track in Mondays opener, as Kevin Pillar singled home pinch-runner Erik Kratz in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Blue Jays to a 5-4 win. The Twins erased a 4-2 deficit in the top of the ninth, but Matt Guerrier (0-1) walked the leadoff batter, Dioner Navarro, who was replaced by Kratz. After Anthony Gose struck out on a failed bunt attempt, Casey Fien took over for Guerrier. Jose Reyes then lined a single to right field -- his third hit of the game -- and Pillar followed with a blooper to right to score Kratz and end the Blue Jays two-game skid. Edwin Encarnacion blasted a three-run homer for AL East-leading Toronto, which was coming off conseccutive 5-0 losses to St.dddddddddddd Louis over the weekend. Danny Santana and Brian Dozier clubbed back-to-back homers off Toronto starter R.A. Dickey to begin the game, but the knuckleballer settled down to pitch into the sixth inning. "The more aggressive I became, the better result I started having," Dickey said. Kurt Suzuki had three hits in Minnesotas fourth loss in five games. Toronto could stay in the win column on Tuesday, as it goes up against Twins righty Kevin Correia, who is a miserable 2-7 with a 6.11 ERA. Correia couldnt hold a four-run lead on Thursday against Milwaukee and fell for the fourth time in five decisions, as he allowed five runs and 10 hits in five innings. As bad as hes been, though, the Twins dont plan on moving him from the rotation anytime soon. "Kevins one of our starters," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "Hes paid good money to do that, and hes still gonna get paid no matter what, so hes one of our starters. We need him to be more consistent." Correia is 1-3 with a 6.48 ERA in six games (4 starts) against Toronto. Minnesota won two of three when these teams squared off in April.
